Where are My Windows Going to Be Today?

Vegas seems particularly aggressive in rearranging my workspace windows today--preview, FX, master bus, they're appearing in all sorts of interesting combinations every time I start the app.

I know I've heard others complain about this, but is there any consensus on why it happens, or better yet, what you can do to stop it?

Or is this just part of Vegas' unique charm? :)

Sorry, that I can not help - but it seems not to be a general issue - I have used each and every Vegas versions from 3 to 12 and never seen that problem.

I don't remember ever having the problem you describe, but if you save a layout by selecting View / Windows Layouts / Save Layout As, your preferred layout [I]should[/I] be quick and easy to recover.

If that doesn't work reliably, it might shed some light on why Vegas isn't able to consistantly activate the default layout or the last one you used.
