Where'd my video go????

I created some graphics in Vegas 8 which I rendered as HDV intermediate 1080 60i and used in a project shot HDV 1080 60i. In Vegas Pro 9 I open the the .veg file with the same properties and the camera footage is there and the music for my graphic open and close but no video. The same file is fine in Vegas 8 but not 9. What changed?

It might be exactly the difference in VP8 and VP9. I figured out that not all media which worked under 8 is compatible to 9. Especially some codecs like uncompressed AVI made in VP8 are not running in VP9. I think there are codec license issues between the two versions. Would be nice to get here some more input because so far I don't understand it. Why has VP9 less codecs available or different than VP8.

I did find this which seems to acknowledge that there is a problem between Vegas Pro 9 and the CineForm codec. However the .dll file didn't help.
