Maybe I'm missing something but the render set in Vegas 16 seems remarkably truncated from previous versions especially as regards audio options--simply put, there are none (apart from a few selections in specific video choices). (While I don't use it, OGG Vorbis is also among the missing; maybe others as I didn't do a full comparison.) Anyway, point is my workflow is Dolby Digital dependent doing the "separate video/audio" thing. If these are gone, I'm at a loss because I use them to fine tune audio output. (If this is true, then it seems Magix is truly aiming for a purely prosumer market.) And, as before, the plug-in bundling is a bit of a mess. Best advice as given somewhere else in this forum is to ignore that salesy component and build your own NLE system around Vegas. End of sorta rant; to the meat & spuds I could use recs on what to do with V16's apparent lack of any sound rendering options whatsoever esp. as regards Dolby. Thanks!
Where'd the Sound Renders Go in V16?
