Where do I download Vegas Pro 17

Just upgraded to Pro 17 and the link provides a small 6 meg vegaspro17edit_dlm.exe install app. I want to down load and save the 687 meg program for archive. Where is it downloaded to?

The link in the download page https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/downloads/ has the vegaspro17edit_dlm.exe

It’s a TWO STAGE process. Now activate that first download and as long as you’re on a live INTERNET Session you’d be taken to the second stage and you should be able to install. Yeah, this 2-Stage Tangolment is a version of what us VegHeads had to do in the previous decade. Hey-ho 🙂

I installed the update, registered and VP 17 is working. I still cannot download the actual installation file. The link takes me to the.exe.

Even when I log into my service center down load section the link takes me to the .exe file. I DO NOT WANT THE .exe file I want the full download file.

This was not an issue w/ Sony.

Here's a screen shot of the VP 15 update installation file that was downloaded back in August.

Where is it downloaded to?

Default is to your Documents\MAGIX Downloads\Installationsmanager
