Where Do I set Codec?

Ok I am just going crazzzzzzyyyy trying to find the place as to where to select the codec- I have a sweet setting I Like to use on the old divx 411, but when I get my project all set to export to avi it always is coming up uncompressed - ahhh tooo big !

I have seen where to select the codec when you are capturing vid - no prob,

help me oobie one kanobie your my only hope!

Actually I started v3 one day ago, but I found your question interresting so I looked for this answer. That's not really hard to find out. File -> render as. Then custom and go in the tab-view called video. At the midle of that windows you can choose which codec you want to use :)
