But now they are $2.45 in lots of 130. How about yours? John

Mini DV master, where do you get them from? John.

Vistek. www.vistek.ca

Either TDK's at Costco or Maxell's at Sam's Club (8pk for about $22).

oops, you can do a lot better than Vistek.
I buy mine from VCR Video Warehouse and, IIRC, my last order was $350 for 10 cases. I've been dealing with them for years and recommend them highly.

edit: same brand as you mentioned

thanks Mike - Wow - a savings of $150! I'll check them out.
rs170a wrote on 3/20/2006, 9:19 AM
oops, now that I'm back at work, I checked my order files. The price was actually $402.50 (taxes) and the order date was Sept. 2005. I'm guessing prices have gone up a bit since then but it's still worth a phone call.

Mike - I called and they are still $3 per tape cheaper than Vistek - next time I'm near there, will pick up a couple of boxes and save 30 bucks - thanks again:-)

oops, I did some more checking and DV Shop lists Panasonic "Master" 60 Minutes in a 5 pack for $37.
Hard to tell from that description if it's the same as what we're using but, once again, it's worth a phone call.

VID is very reasonable. Panasonic 63 minute PQ tapes are $2.99 in lots of 20. The 83 minute tapes are $6.29 in lots of 5.

The 63 minute MQ tapes you mentioned are $4.49 in lots of 5.
