Where is DMA in Windows ME so I can stop dropping frames?

I've read a number of postings in this forum referring to frames dropping when they capture video in VF 2. The users who reply talk about making sure that DMA is checked. I have no problems when I capture from my DV Camcorer, but when when I capture video from my VCR using Dazzle DVC80, I loose frames like crazy. There was a loss of 145 frames in less than 3 seconds at one time. I run window ME in my machine, and my question is, "where do I find DMA in windows ME?". I have followed the step to solve this problems, but it's not working for me. Is there another way to avoid loosing frames? If so, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Go to your device manager. There you will find all that is installed on your computer. Right click on the hard drives and click on properties. That is where you will be able to change the dma setting. Sometimes I have seen dma lock up systems. If this happens you might have to reboot in safemode to turn it off.
