It's a separate installation. If you don't have the installer, you can register the software on this site and then download Magic Bullet.

If you have installed it, you should find it in VideoFX in Vegas.

I believe if you register MB on their site, you can download a few extra looks

I think you mean Vegas + DVDA - and it comes with a set of free "Movie looks." When you register you can download 5 more looks. Also if you want to upgrade to Magic Bulet Editor's you get a discount. Having said that however - Magic Bullet Editors 2 just came out and I don't think the discount upgrading from the free looks to the full version is valid anymore.

Vegas support, as it were, for Magic Bullet editors. I say "as it were" because there really isn't any sort update on this page that relates to version 2.

"Magic Bullet Editors 2 Upgrade (Download) $99.00

This seems to indicate that it should be OK. Above from mbforeditors.

I'll bet it's still a slug situation (is that just bloated coding? or is it just that what its doing is so CPU intensive?)

Thanks so much I downloaded from the site and it works great that is the exception of being very slow during playback, wow.

What graphics cards are you using?

ATI Radeon 9250

This card probably doesn't have major oomph in OpenGL, which I suspect is what MB2 uses. You did download MB version 2, right?

If you read a bit closer you see it ends with the comment: Requires previous version serial number. This is for upgrading from a previous version of Magic Bullet Editors, not the free movie looks. Heck if it were only 99 bucks to go from the free movie looks they would sell hella more copies I am sure.

Toolfarm will have a 50% off sale on Magic Bullet Editors 2 for one day only during the week of Nov. 28.

The sale will not be pre-announced, and it will be for one day only. I'll announce it here if I catch it in time.
