Where is my sound?

Got a weird problem I can't seem to work out. Just imported a load of clips into my timeline (pro 11) and all look fine. But some play with no sound.

All have sound as shown in the audio section of the timeline, but the ones that don't play sound show the level in the timeline indicator but not on the master sound levels.

How do I fix this? There seems no reason to me why the sound is not playing on these clips. Tried closing and opening Vegas, tried deleting and adding the clips again, but the same thing occurs.

What is the format of the clips? Use Mediainfo to show us the format. Are all the clips the same format?

All the clips are AVCHD m2ts format. Clips taken on the same day minutes apart are fine, others are not. All clearly have sound, just that some clips don't play sound on the Vegas timeline even though it shows up on the audio track.

I have solved my own problem - but this leads onto another question. Any clip after 1hr 41minutes on the timeline does not play sound. If I move that clip inside the 1hr 41 minute mark, the sound plays.

How weird is that? What is up?

Does the same thing happen with all projects? Can you start a new project, put the same clip on the timeline, and have it play successfully after 1:41?

I'm wondering if maybe you have an audio effect on that track or on the main buss that has a keyframe set to silence it at that point? Or maybe you have a volume envelope on that track?
