Where is the font?

I'm not sure but I think copying and pasting from Word should maintain the font in Titles & Text.

You can copy and paste from another app or legacy. For some reason it keeps the chosen font or install the font as a TTF. For some reason Vegas doesn't show OTF fonts. Been like that since version 12.

@mintyslippers - And the illogical result/outcome where VP doesn’t, compared to NewBlueTitlerPro which will! Also my several Graphics Packages too. Bizarre....

I just tried that copy & paste trick (both from Word and from the Vegas Pro legacy titler) but it does not work. Titles & Text still refuses to use many fonts and it also affects many True Type fonts (e.g. Wicker SF Light).

That font works for me. VP16 Build 361

@Marco. - It's a Bust, and has been forever. And sometimes it's the reverse too! I've sent videos to them Upstairs showing exactly this illogicality. I do get a feeling of it being swept into the distant corners of the Laboratory like so much dust and fluff or Prairie Tumbleweed.

This is why I've gone for NewBlueTitler Pro which has an amazing set of Creative and organizational features that you deserve to demo-download. Also, unless a MAGIX spokesperson comes along and denies it, Vegas PTT isn't being developed any further. Mores-the-pity that this is so as PTT had the DNA makings of a potential/possible contender. But hey . . . 😔

You are correct, it does not change to the Wicker SF Light font on the preview or in the render. Amazing that this was never corrected.

Build 424 for VP16 is out today and finally fixes this. All fonts available. Huzzah!

Make sure to notify the devs and maybe send them the offending fonts so they can work on improving that.
