Where is the Join command?

Hi, I've scoured the manual and the menus of 2.0b but cannot
find any reference to the usual Join command found in many
other DAWs. Does anyone know where it is? By Join, I mean
the ability to join all the audio sections and splits on a
track into one contiguous wav file. I can do it by muting
all tracks and effect returns and rendering the single track
but is there no simpler way? Thanks. Tony

No there is no Join command. You can lock events, group, or render,
but those are the only three options.

Yeah, I usually just solo the tracks that I want to join together and
then use the "mix to new" command.

Thanks guys. At least there's a workaround.

Tony

P.S. we're just doing our first pro project with Vegas 2 (sync'd up to
a separate PC for MIDI) and so far it's behaving beautifully : )
