Which Blu-Ray player plays m2t files?

Can anyone recommend a blu-ray player that can play m2t files (with VMS8-edited footage from Canon HV20) ?

I believe PS3 does it, but I would rather wait for a standalone blu-ray player instead. Sony BDP-S350 got very good reviews, but I can not find any info if it plays m2t files? If it doesn't - is there another way for VMS Plat 8 to create playable data DVD for it?

Is it worth to upgrade to VMS 9.0 Platinum for the AVCHD codec? The BDP-S350 manual says that the player plays AVCHD. Will there be any loss in quality from HDV-to-AVCHD conversion?
