I know for a fact that YOU have NO NEED of the ProRES422 or 10bit files...

BUT - here's the deal you should have far more options than what you are stating.
AVID DNxHD thru Quicktime will be suitable - but keep in mind there are many variations in this codec setting - so you have to tune in.

Check your other options which are much more preferable than above - including 8bit formats.

I am vey sorry but I am a old (70) amateur and do not understand your mail.
Since I am living in Switzerland my English has also some difficulties. I will ask one of my friends if he understands what you mean

Avid DNxHD is the only reasonable format that will work with Vegas. I had a Shuttle for a while but gave up on it. Use 8-bit only unless you are doing chroma keying and have the hardware to support 10bit. If you have many clips, you may need to transcode the DNxHD files to something else. DNxHD requires Quicktime and that causes a lot of problems. If you have small projects, you should be fine.

OldSmoke

Thank you for your information. Did you ever tried ProRes 422 with your Shuttle?

No point. You can get into Vegas but not out; you can't render to ProRes from vegas. Also the files are rather large and I used the recorder together with my Z5U. There is only so much you can get from that kind of camera that it doesn't make sense to use such a high end codec.
