White background as default

In Vegas 5, the default background color is black.

How can you make "white" as the default background color throughout the entire project?

Tried that too under "Prefferences" etc - but in the end I found that dropping solid white from the Media Generator on the lowest track to be easiest.

If you right click on your video track, you will see fade colors in the menu. Just set what ever 1 or 2 colors you would like then insert a fade to color envelope.
