White balance, Chroma Key dropper don't seem to be working

Not too long ago I noticed my white balance tool wasn't working in vegas, but I am noticing that my chroma keyer tool isn't either. Seems to be anytime I try to use the dropper to pick a color for any plug in. I am on a new computer and I am not sure where to look? My 4k monitor dual screens? My video card? Has anyone ever had this issue? It is a brand new computer with the following specs. My old computer running windows 7 didn't seem to have this issue. I have rest all settings, I have reinstalled Vegas. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Vegas Pro 15 (416)

Intel® Core™ i9-9900K Processor (8x 3.60GHz/16MB L3 Cache)

Video Card         NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 - 8GB (GDDR5X) (VR-Ready)

Monitor  qty 2             28'' [3840x2160] ASUS PB287Q 4K Monitor w/ Eye Care -- 60Hz 1ms - Dual Monitors

Motherboard    GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS MASTER -- RGB, 802.11ac WiFi, USB 3.1 (5 Rear, 2 Front), Digital VRM Design

One of the most important information always is which version and which build of Vegas Pro you use.

The more I look into it the more I realize when my white balance eye dropper issue is happening. This is what I figured out. when I use Sony Vegas Pro 15 with monitors set to it's native resolution 3840x2160 my vegas white balance tool does not work and if it does it is very eratic and inconsistent. When I set my monitors to anything less than that like 1080x1920 than it does work perfectly fine. Is Vegas not compatible with 4k monitors? Does anyone have an answer to fixing this issue?

You still didn't tell us which build of Magix Vegas Pro 15 you use.

VERY Interesting it works in 1080, and not 4k. That's a good start to solving this: a known GOOD scenario. What about trying inbetween like 1440? In 4k, try switching scaling: 100, 125, 150 200% Mouse drivers, GFX drivers, different mouse? maybe check graphics settings, like RESET/apply. Just some thoughts.

I use 4K screens, and Nvidia 1070 and it seems to work but I will double check it tonight.

Interesting also that nobody else seems to be having this same issue. I noticed it works on any display under 2560X1440
