White bars in the center of the video.

I'm using Vegas Pro 12.0 and the video source is from SJCam 4000,1920x1080 .mov file.

A white bar in the center appears whenever I put a Brightness and Contrast Video Fx.

Why is this happening? How can I remove it?

Try turn off GPU acceleration if you are using it.

Options>Preferences>Video tab>Gpu acceleration of video processing: turn off.

This is not rendered yet. Im just showing the changes when I tried to apply the Video Fx.

Yes indeed... GPU is not just for rendering use, but also during editing stage, for preview purposes. Just want to know if GPU is one of the factor.

Ok, I searched for similar SJCAM SJ4000 raw footage and found one here: http://pevly.com/sjcam-sj4000-wifi-action-camera-review/ (direct dropbox shortcut link : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7cdc2b6btzz8pys/AAAfnzEjnuKjguuC2avLNlIKa?dl=0 ) and try add it with same Brightness and Contrast FX, working normal here (VP 13.453).

Does it happen if you switch the preview quality to "Best (full)"?

Click on the button indicated. This will turn off "Split Screen Mode". I think that is what you see in the Preview window.
