It seems that the Border FX Soft edge is only available in black and the color templete is ghosted out. I usually end up using the cookie cutter and doing all kinds of flips and I end up spending too much time.

I just want a soft feathered square in white (or any other color) in the fastest way possible.

So how do the pros do it?
