Why does "Exit" close my program?

I think there is a bug in the SoFo applications!!

When I"m working in Vegas or Architect - it is the damndest thing....but when ever I use the "file" menu and select "exit" the damn program closes!!

I was reading that other applications like DVDit or Premeire don't do this - maybe I should start using those instead! I mean if SoFo can't stop this from happening then what good can the other applications they have be...rights?

Well, bad example. I could hear the converation in my head now:

Me- "Uh, Houston? This is Alpha Tango. We've got a problem. "
Houston- "Go ahead Alpha. What's the problem."
Me- "Well, after all of the crew but me went into the sleep chamber, a virus flew in and killed everyone. Ends up there was a small hole that Bill didn't catch."
Houston- "Roger that. Bill's readme.txt file recomends you open the space hatch to solve your problem, over."
Me- "Roger tha..............................................................."
