It doesn't. You can export to AVI, Windows Media, Real Media, MPEG-1 for VCD's, MPEG-2 for SVCD and DVD, etc..

It doesn't..certain analog capture cards are recognized by the capture program built into VV4. I have an ATI Radeon All in Wonder card and I can capture from that card through VV4. On the other hand, my Pinnacle DC10 card is NOT recognized.

You can always capture video through a third party card using it's software, save the file, and then open it up in VV4 for editing.

As for outputting the result in an analog mode (for VHS use), you really do have to have some third party card (or a firewire devide with DV to Analog conversion capability)
