The best way to write that would be "I'm having a problem with dropped frames, here's the details you asked me to post before you can help me."

We're not psychics. We don't know what version of VEGAS you're using, or if you're even using VEGAS... we don't know what your computer hardware is, or what version of windows you are using, or what type of media you are using. If you want help, you're going to have to give us more information.

Systems:

Its not only to provide more information. You need to be respectful when communicating with others. Everyone here volunteers our time in helping....Even if frustrated, there is no need starting a post in this manner.

What's your system hardware? What version of VEGAS?

dooyeol-choi wrote on 5/11/2024, 5:33 AM

I have Vegas pro 15 16 18 and pro and pro+post 365(V21 b300)

and use Rygen9 5950X 32GB ram Hynix platinum 2TB

Radeon Pro W6600

Video equipment : Sony FX6V With 3D heads

Are you shooting 10 bit 422? AMD can't decode that with the GPU so making proxy files or shooting 10 bit 420 HEVC or AVC is the best thing to do for smooth playback.

I assume you are explaining the main problem here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/rendering-inmemory-errors--145689/

vegas pro 18~ all apps surport 4:2:2 10bit.. my W6600 card can calculate.. and my you tube clip was all 4:2:2 10 bit siources for 4 years.. i was use fx3 (2021)-FX6(2022-2024)

RogerS wrote on 5/11/2024, 6:51 PM

No GPU accelerates 10 bit 422 AVC. Only Intel does HEVC 10 bit 422 HEVC.

Here's AMD: https://www.amd.com/en/products/graphics/radeon-for-creators/video-editing.html#tabs-b6a36ad588-item-11a57560d1-tab

VEGAS makes automatic proxy files for high resolution media. Maybe this media didn't trigger proxy creation so you can do it manually.

dooyeol-choi wrote on 5/11/2024, 7:50 PM

This is my rendering... 4:2:2 10bit source... 60fps... ...ㅡ..ㅡ

dooyeol-choi wrote on 5/11/2024, 7:55 PM

And.. W cards automatically change 422 to 420... and.. additional setting was located 444 10bit.

so MXF file change 21GB t0 8GB MP4.. four years......~~~ on line format do not surpport 422 .. so change 422 to 420 automaticlally .. ㅡ..ㅡ

RogerS wrote on 5/11/2024, 9:05 PM

I don't understand how a GPU can change media formats without rendering it.

Anyway 21.300 has many decoding bugs, especially with MXF and I wouldn't use it until they are fixed.

dooyeol-choi wrote on 5/11/2024, 11:02 PM

Hey.. roser s redering.. 4K 60fps 4ch.. and 422 10bit ㅡ..ㅡ and 10min over...

RogerS wrote on 5/11/2024, 11:21 PM

What does that mean?

Feel free to try one of the render benchmarks in my signature.

dooyeol-choi wrote on 5/12/2024, 6:06 AM

hey.. do you know MXF format??? 422 10bit?? I think that you have did not use MXF clips...ㅡ..ㅡ

RogerS wrote on 5/12/2024, 7:39 AM

Who are you talking to?

I know that MXF format doesn't work properly in 21.300 from audio losing sync to frame glitches.

Try putting information like the media you are using in your first post if you want help.
