I have asked several people and I still don't understand. Why can you not use a midi music file in video editing? I have tried IntroDV, EditDV, VideoFactory, and not Vegas. Other audio programs like CoolEdit can import midi, so I figured that Vegas could as well. If so, I haven't found it yet. I see lots of references to MIDI Timecodes and such in Vegas, but nowhere that I could import my midi compositions as the soundtrack for my videos. I have to record them to *.wav in another (audio editing) program and then import them. Seems like it could happen here when Vegas renders the sequence.
