Man, why cant we have a cheap control surface - have you seen this m-audio control for garage band? only $150 bucks... for a low rent product like garage band (ok, thats a jab, I havent seen nor used garage band, and I've heard good things about it, I'm just not a mac person)

anyone know if this can port to vegas??

The Behringer one seems to work OK according to some of the audio guys and cheaper than the m-audio.

I'd wager that it wouldn't be too difficult to make the iControl work in Vegas, if it's got MMC in it. I don't know if it does or doesn't. The specs say that it's AU only, but it also doesn't pass any audio.
Anyway, as Farss mentions, the Behringer or Cooper can both be programmed into the Generic MIDI devices. I think Mike Jones over at DMN has his Beringer key maps posted.

I bought the Behringer and have been very happy with it. Emulates the Mackie, works just fine. $300 CDN.
