I prefer the widescreen look, so I've been shooting everything in the HC40's widescreen 16:9 format. When I try to combine this footage with std footage cropped with Screenblast's 16:9 crop, well, the sizes don't match. The camera is delivering a much thinner-appearing (in terms of height) rectangle than is delivered by Screenblast's crop. I thought the camera might be doing a 1.85:1 (also selectable in Screenblast), but that doesn't match either. What gives?
