Have captured & editted my fisrt few videos.
Now need to create the DVD files.

These questions may appear too basic (apologies if they are)

I have read the 'widescreen' options in help file but still unclear what I should set.

The files are from a standard 4:3 video ...
They will be played back on widescreen TV form stand alone DVD player.
Although I would also want hem to be playable on non-widescreen TV.

So what do I set?
in properties should I select pixel aspect as:
PAL DV
PAL widescreen


second part of Q is Field order ?
I know my TV/DVD is set up for progressive scan playback, so do I need to select this ... would it still be playable on standard DVD /TV combinations.

For example if I play a commercial DVD my DVD/TV works in progress scan mode .. but same DVD can be played on a standard TV/DVD.
