I have a new machine that will generate a single a single memory error when running the latest memtest. I haven't had time to tweak the bios enough to get rid of the error.
Even with this error, the machine appeared to run fine and a few Vegas projects and all other applications are perfect.
However, last night the DVD widescreen render for a 57 minute multiple format project has a few issues not seen on the timeline preview.
1. There is a video freeze where a single frame is displayed for about 10 seconds, and then video resumes.
2. There is a segment where the audio severely distorts in a very odd sounding way for 3 seconds, and then audio resumes.
Does this sound like a memory/machine error?
