Will a standard pci soundblaster card work well for midi input with Acid/Reason?

I am on the cheap here and am looking for a quick fix to go along with my gina 24 which has no midi.
Any takers on this?

I would not recommend soundblasters for a dual soundcard setup. They cause more problems then they are worth. If you have a lot of time on your hands then go for it. I recommend getting a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. Not cutting edge, but works with minimal hassel.

I would agree except for one thing. The soundblaster synth is much better sounding than turtle beach and has the added versatility of soundfonts.
