Will nested scenes impact a final render?

I have Vegas Pro 21 build 208 for reference.

I want to try and keep my timeline better managed on my current project as it is looking to become much more complex than what I have done before. If a project has multiple nested timelines, I am estimating I would end up needing around 18-20 for what I am currently working on, would this have any impact on my final render?

Primarily edit footage captured via OBS from video games, with some live action bits mixed in.

Vegas Pro 23 (VP21 also installed for previous project that uses Vegas Effects heavily)

Win 11 Pro 24H2 (Build 22631.5909)

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12 cores

32GB DDR4 2133 MT/s

Nvidia RTX 2080-ti 11gb

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra

Sony a6600, a5100,

OBS - 2560x1440, HDR, 60fps, HEVC, CQP @ 20, Main-10

TASCAM 16x08 US, Behringer ADA8200

Rode Podmic, Rode Procaster, Shure sm7b, AT-2020, AT-2035, AT-875R

Nesting will have zero effect on the final render if you take a walk while it's rendering.

I have gone out for a drink instead, no problemos either way

It will only slow down (by 15-20%) the render process a little. But that time you will probably win while editing. Compare the hours of editing to the minutes of rendering, renderingtime is just peanuts.

Render the nested project to a new layer within the nested project after perfecting it. Depending on the complexity it can save a lot of time when doing final renders.
