Will Vegas Pro 10d lead to VMS 10a??

On the Vegas Pro Video forum this Sony NAB Announcement 10d and more details SCS's new Vegas Pro 10d updates.

Will SCS "dummy it down" and give us the long awainted VMS 10a? Let's hope.

Don't hold your breath. Eric from Sony Support let me know that VMS 10 Platinum will be updated when they release VMS 11 Platinum. In other words, there is no intention to update VMS 10. Expect that VMS 11 will essentially be "VMS 10a".
