It was seemingly reluctantly re-released due to popular demand.

If they still aren't keen on keeping it up to date, maybe they could think about integrating it into SoundForge.

I would consider it as legacy since no one from Sony never gave any comment on the future of CDA 5.

Geoff, I like your thinking. Or how about this one? Expand on the CDA features that are already in Vegas? It amazes me when a lot of users disagree with me on a particular topic, then a year or so down the road, they start to realize the downsides of that opinion, and all of a sudden their opinion starts to sound a lot like mine.

Don't get me wrong, Red, I would still prefer it stand-alone. But there seems a distinct lack of interest from SoSoFo ....

CDA is pretty much in Vegas. Except in Vegas the interface doesn't lend itself to CD formatting the way CDA's does.

I too think it would be best for CDA to be integrated into Sound Forge. The only feature I would like to see added to CDA is audio recording.
