I'm trying to link a Sony dhr-1000np digital video recorder to windows xp
via a Firewire card. I cant get windows to display a picture from the vcr,
all I get is broken up blocky picture. I also have a panasonic dx100
camcorder which works perfectly. I suspected a fault with the sony vcr,
however when the vcr is connected to the camcorder via the firewire sockets
they work perfectly together in both directions. So I conclude that it must
be something to do with win xp.
Any ideas please!
