"How does one filter out wind noise?"

By putting the microphones closer to the people speaking and using good quality windscreens on them.

Movie Studio includes many various audio filters and effects. None of them, either in Movie Studio or any other software, can remove wind noise after it's been recorded.

Most wind noise is in the lower registers and it can be effectively combated with a high pass filter. Add a filter to your audio effects chain, preferably as the first effect (farthest to the left) and play around with the frequency until you get something that blocks most of the noise yet leaves the other sounds intelligable. Filtering everything below 500hz is a good place to start for heavy wind noise.
