I'm trying Windows 7, 64 bit with VMS 6 on my new laptop. I tried a small video slide show, with music. Everything works fine until I try to make the DVD in DVDA3. The preview with menus works great...but when I actually try to make the DVD...I get a message that "file cannot be accessed or you don't have write authority".
I am logged in as the administrator. Any suggestions?
Hi, I have Movie Studio 9 paltinum Pro running on and i7/920 with an ATI 4870 Graphics card and 3Mb DDR3 Memory all supported by Win 7 Professional 64bit, it runs great with no problems other than the fact that I have only just started using Sony S/W after migrating from Cyberlink PD8 Ultra and am still coming to grips with it.
Hi:
I found an answer to my earlier question about why I got error messages stating that I did not have "write authority" even though I was logged on as "administrator." I am using Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, Intel Core (TM2) Duo T6600 processor, 4 GB of RAM. I followed the instructions in the link below and everything worked fine. This was just a brief test video-slide show, but it worked well. While I don't understand why I have to log on as "administrator" twice....it worked.
The link is below: You will probably have to hi-lite the entire link and paste it in your browser.
Good luck.
