Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and Motu-Error 18

We tried to upgrade with Windows 7 64 bit and Motu 24/IO and are getting
error 18? Motu and Windows are messing with each other. Never got to Vegas 9.

Brand new computer. Brand new card.

This will be fun to figure out.

Any suggestions out there in Vegas/Motu land?

The Fix!
The problem with Error 18 turned out to be a Dell-Windows issue.
We are using the Alienware Desktop Aurora/Aurora ALX, and out of the box
it did not have Windows 7 Pro, but premium Home 7. We purchased the
upgrade to 7.

When we tried to load the Motu drivers to the upgrade of Windows 7,
we got error 18. My computer ace, Matt decided to un-install the Dell
version with the upgrade and load a fresh version of Windows 7 64 bit.

This made the Dell Alienware happy. Sony Vegas 9-64 bit loaded along with
all of the Sony software.

When I played a test file with the old Vegas 5, it opened and was happy.
We save this version to Vegas 9, and Windows/Motu/Dell and Sony
are very happy.
