Are you having any other issues with windows not behaving normally? What version of windows are you on? I've never seen Vegas cause windows explorer to crash before, so I'm wondering if it could be something else causing the issue?

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)

Lijkt me ook moeilijk onderhouden, opschonen e.d.

Jan....the era i install my applications on the C-drive, is way back in time.

Every computer now has a SSD drive for windows, not suited or too small to install apps in.

Ok, you are free go your own way but don't complain about VPro 16.

I have my SSD with one partition of 150 TB for Windows and my programs, only 55 GB is occupied with a lot of programs, more than 90 TB is free.
The other partition of that SSD I use for Vegas renders, Handbrake renders and OBS screenvideocaptures.
Never had any problem with all VPro, VMS or other programs installed from VPro 8 and VMS 10 untill now versions 16 and 15 of those programs.

PS.
I did also read your crashes with VPro 15 and not starting an update of that program.
Vegas must be a bad program for you. 😂😏
