Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone has had this thought or am I doing something wrong.

When using keyframes in a small clip the clip may be 1 min in length. They time displayed on the keyframe track conforms to the length of the clip.

If I want a keyframe to act upon a certain time on the project clock
it's difficult to place cause the 2 clocks are different.

Thus I wish the keyframe time chart could be selected to display the project clock so I could place a keyframe right on the time.

It would also be AWSOME to incorporate music beats here for a clock. Measures instead of time.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong : )

The Synch Cursor button will ensure that a key frame can be inserted at the exact spot where the cursor is placed on the timeline - not quite the same as a time readout, but it is accurate.

Although Synch Cursor is very useful, I prefer to use it sparingly and have it switched off by default, to avoid unwanted results.

A great, quick-n-dirty way to get marks on the beats is to listen to your track, and hit 'M' in time to the music. This puts marks at the beats. Then insert your fx, clips, whatever, at the marks. (Spot taught me that one.)
