WMP 10 Beta?

Well this Media Player comes with the Service Pack 2 update so mabe its not a beta anymore IMO!

Interesting! - I UG-ed to SP2 and the Media player . . just checked this . . is still Ver9 .. ?

Well i really dont know is just that i used the beta for some days before i reinstalled windows with a preinstalled SP2 in the setup when it finish installing and opened WMP it was the v10 again so thats why i think SP2 has that version but i really dont know. :)

So . . at last . . what do younthink of it? Does it give homegrown text name support for files?

Question to others -Did you get Ver 10 of WMP in your SP2? . . No! well there's a thing . .?

i dont know what u mean but at least it work better than v9 in case of playback but ive noticed that its slower in loading and loading video or audio files

I was using the Beta MP10 and I hated it! I hated that I could NOT uninstall it and go back to version 9. I hated that it was buggy and crashed on me all the time. I hated the new look.
However, after SP2 upgrade I am finding that the bugs and crashing have stopped. I still hate the new look but I am glad that it has improved enough to avoid a complete reinstall of WinXP...

He means that you still have the beta 10 that you had previously installed.

SP2 does not include any version of WMP. It's just a bunch of security updates.
