They're on a separate CD, most likely. If you got a DVD then they might be on that disc in a separate folder. Find them and copy them to your hard drive somewhere.

If you got the download version then you can contact Sony's customer support and arrange to get the discs mailed to you for a small shipping fee.

They came with boxed version, on a separate cd. They are NOT worth the $15 Sony will charge you. You better look for sound fx on the internet. A good start is http://www.soundsnap.com/ It used to be free, but now they charge a small fee.

"...the $15 ..." - yeah, and if you live in Europe you might also receive an invoice from your local Customs office claiming some 50 ++$ for "customs handling" ... plus some heavy VAT charge - up to 25 percent in the worst countries :-))

Thanks, I did find it on the vms9 pro pack DVD. There was no menu item for iinstallation but when I browsed the DVD, the 1001 sound effects were in a folder called "Content". There were also borders, titles and a few other goodies.
