WMV file is cut off in DVDA

I have a fairly large wmv file (one hour, 33min.). Plays fine in windows media player, bbut when I transfer it to DVDA, only 49min (and a few seconds) of the file actually transfer over. I've tried re-rendering twice and the file seems fine as a completely rendered project (about 3.99GB), but everytime I import the file into DVDA, it gets cut off. Any ideas? Thanks so much!! Client has been waiting for quite a long while!

Well, i don't know if WMV is causing the truncation problem. However, it's a very poor choice for transfer to DVD. WMV is a very lossy format, and then DVDA has to transcode it into MPEG2 and it'll suffer even more loss. Render your file as DV .avi, or as separate MPEG-2 & AC3 files. These are the best choices for creating a DVD. And ... i've never seen truncation problems with either of those formats.

I had a similar problem just last night. Bringing in mpeg-2 and ac-3 into dvd-a. Everything worked right in dvd-a, then made some editing changes and re-rendered, and re-linked files in dvd-a, but upon preview it would cut out right near where I made my edits, so I re-rendered again, and again no luck. Deleted them and rendered again. Finally after I realized I was not going about this the right way, I viewed my render with VLC? and render was complete as suspected, went back to dvd-a and found that somehow a region loop was turned on in the video link. I simply removed the region highlight and all video was now showing. Simple, I cannot believe I re-rendered 3-4 times! Anyway check the timeline on you video link. hope this helps.
