Not sure what WMV is but I think the answer is no... You can import
wav, avi, aif, mov, qt, bmp, mp3, gif, jpg, png, tga, w64, and psd
only.
I would like to se support for importing WMA.

There is a WMV in the "save as" file Menu....It is Windows Media
Video..I don't see it in the Open menu so it probably can't open it.

I believe this is due to the fact that Microsoft, as well as Real, do
not allow for opening of their files for editing. Just playback and
encoding.

Charles has your answer. Windows Media Video is a new name for .asf
files. Microsoft would rather not use .wmv files as source media
yet. I do not know of any editor that allows the opening
of .asf/.wmv files.
