Workflow question Clips, Composite envelopes or ??

If you have a project with several camera angels, or full length clips (That must stay in sync), how do you prefer to show a given clip below several tracks:

Lots of Composite envelopes with points set on all the above clips. (If so is there a quick way to add points to several clips at at time?)

Or cut everything up into clips and expose the clips below. With this option is there a way to keep all the timing locked together?

OR am I on a totaly wrong track?

I cut the clips to reveal the tracks below. Keep them in sync by Grouping them. Just be aware to check whats happened to your groupings after you make any splits.

Cutting them into clips does seem more convient, but I always tend to move things.

When you create groups, how do you tell which clips belong to what groups. Many DAWs I use color code them, I havent seen an indicator in vegas.

No obvious way to know. I just select one member of what I think should be a group a slip it to see what else moves.
