workspace size

Can anyone advise of a way to enlarge the workspace? When several buttons are created, it would be nice to be able to work on a larger area to fine tune placement so that buttons are not overlapping. I have tried dragging edges and looked in the preferences/display settings, but nothing seems to enlarge the blue work area.

cheers

Mike

What is your Zoom set at? (Above the workspace, it's a magnifying glass with either Auto, 100%, 75%, or 50% next to it. If it's set to a percentage, that's how big your workspace is going to be no matter what. If it's on Auto, your workspace will resize to fit the available space -- to give it more space, resize the other windows.

Sorry, nothing greater than 100% is available, so you can't really "zoom in."

However, you can fine-tune your adjustment by selecting an item on the workspace and going to the Transformations tab of the Button Properties window. You can also use Ctrl and your arrow keys to move in small increments.

my DVDA can do up to 800% zoom in.

Admittedly, I wrote that (and still am) at my notebook, which only has DVDA3. Maybe the "above 100%" options were added in DVDA 4 or 4.5? I've never really had the need to zoom in on the workspace, so I've never tried.
