I admit I am merely scratching an itch, but just as I was about to lurch into 4K with the AX100, the x70 was announced.

The AX100 already has the ability to shoot 4K.

It's "big brother", the x70 has other extra functions, but it will not initially have 4K ... mooted to be a PAID firmware upgrade ...

What is this saying about the near future of 4K acquisition?

Are there large improvements close ahead?
