70 years after 25,000 elite members of the Polish nation were murdered by Stalin oppressors, almost 100 high rank personalities of the now free Poland die again in Katyn...

Yes, bad news. This time I expect it is an accidental outcome. "Katyn" is an excellent film about the original WWII events.

Its the fourth of those type of Russian airplanes to crash in the last two years..It is sad to see that many people die, and the polish people really liked this President very much.

A tragidy for Poland. Such accidents are so unsettling and doubly so when the impact goes beyond the families of those involved.

The incident does raise a number of obvious questions that are best left to the people of Poland to address.

Dear Friends,

We are all mourning here in Poland.

Andrzej Wajda's "Katyn" will be shown today for the widest audience on Russian TV for the first time. Let's hope this terrible accident will accelerate the Polish-Russian conciliation... What a paradox!

I personally - and many other Poles I talked to - wish that whoever is found guilty of this tragedy will be treated as if he had no nationality.
