would this make a different in speed

If I changed the os drive to solid state drive and get one to render to but the drive that raw video sits on would be just a sata drive. Would there be a boost in speed that would make it worth it. Microcenter is having a sale on 30 gig ssd. They arent big enough for video storage but for my os and render to I figured its a thought. Your thoughts?

No, it's not going to make much of a difference at all. If you have applied any filters or added any text to your production, then the render speed is going to be determined by the speed of your CPU not your hard drives.
