We had a boilerplate rtf file that Vegas would fill in the blanks and create a slate. It's nearly there, we've got the notepad, Protype shows how text can be created outside of Vegas. All it might need is the right glue to put it all together.

I wouldn't classify this as fluffing it up, more like a basic. I've mentioned this before but Avid are smart, they have slates and countdowns with an Avid logo, that's very clever marketing that hits right into the heart of their target market.
Now that I think about it VASST ran a competition for a Vegas countdown, what we need is that or something similar as the default for PTT.
