Wow! This is a huge change! What happened?

I havn't been on the internet for a few days, and then all the sudden when I get on to sonicfoundry.com today, there's a whole new site!?? Did sony buy out sonic foundry or have they always been a part of Sonic Foundry, just not as big of a part? I know that sony has had screenblast studio which is the same thing as VV3 without some features, but I guess now they own SF. I am very confused, but so far the new site looks pretty good. Hope the support stays the same. If someone could explain this to me, that would be great. Thanks everyone!

Do you mean you haven't been online for a few months? ;)

SONY bought SonicFoundry's media software business this summer and it's been the major topic of discussion on this forum since, oh probably April or so. SonicFoundry still owns MediaSite and related products, as well as their other non-software business. There is a new website for these items at (the as yet ungloriously named) http://64.73.43.140

Yah, now that I think about it, I havn't been on this site in a while. I heard a little about them buying SF's media sofware, but I didn't know they would change the site. Well, looks good so far....I havn't had good expeirences with Sony customer service in the past, but maby it's different on this site. Thanks for the explanation!

The site apparently changed sometime this afternoon or evening (9/22). I was on this morning and it was still the SoFo mirror.

A very cool color scheme.
