I want to get my text so it looks like someone is writing it can i do this or do i need a plugin? if i need a plugin i would be happy if someone sent a link

The simplest way would be to aplly a wipe transition to the text.

The most effective way is to keyframe a bezier mask to reveal the writing over time. I demonstrate this in The Vegas 5 Companion .

The rotoscoping tool ("rotomate") of Wax also is a possible way to go.
