VPro 18 found today a driverupdate for my Nvidia, but it downloaded not the Studio driver, that was available on the Nvidia site and that one was a little bigger (623585 kb). Is there a reason not to automatic download that Studio driver?

No, not at both.
But it was an important member of the development team who told us to use the special made Studio driver.
They appear almost the same- 578MB vs 579MB for the laptop version. Probably just a rounding issue. I'm downloading it through VP now. [Update-actual file was the right 456.38 notebook driver and was 592,464 KB)
I've been on Studio Drivers since they came out and noticed big stability improvements around May. The recent ones- no, no difference at all. The bugfix list is all about games.
