WYSIWYG When Compositing

In V Pro 10 e, I used a Photoshop image on a transparent backgound in the top track of a composite. In the preveiw window it looks one way (correct) and when rendered the position shifts (rendered as a 1080p WMV). Is there a way to have WYSIWYG in this scenario? I eventually got it but took several guessed adjustments. Thanks, Sneddy

Were your project properties the same as your render properties?

I'm embarrassed to tell you I don't know. I just Googled Project Properties
in Vegas and there is a YT video on it. I'll take a look at it and if I have further questions will post again. Thanks, Sneddy

That can be a big problem. Most everything Vegas does uses render properties when rendering regardless of how the project properties are set. However this doesn't hold true for generated media. Generated media still uses project properties that were in effect when the media was added. If your render properties are significantly different then there can be a mismatch of size & placement.
