Links to multiple documents from Sony covering XDCAM and NLE workflows were recently posted at DVInfo. For those who don't visit there you can download the one covering XDCAM HD and XDCAM EX with V8 from here.

It would be nice if a link to this document AND the latest version of the Clipbrowser was made a sticky on this forum.

That is a good guide, though surprisingly it never mentioned the rather important bug in Vegas Pro 8.0c when used with XDCAM HD in the SD mode.

Unless you get some fixed dlls from SCS, as I did, you will lose your audio when you try to edit XDCAM SD (DVCAM-mode) in Vegas Pro 8.0c.
